Where is the blessing in this?

I have always been taught that there is blessings in all things and always more blessings than a curse in things. But last week in Georgia a man was convicted of molesting 2 young girls and that man was said that when he was a little boy he was molested by his father. I don't see the blessing there, where is God in this? Is this one of God's tests? That cannot be, that is so very awful. Or is this the work of the devil that God said could have these people and he (god) will sit back for it? Makes me so angry!!
