Shaving my pubes easier?

I shaved my pubes but i got razor bumps really bad! I know there is a razor thing called like the noreleco bodyshaver er somethin like that but its $50. And considering im 14 that would be wierd walking into a store and getting that. Is there an easier way other than that so I wont get razor bumps or burns? thanks:)
