Shaving issues! Please help!?

I'm 16, and my everybody i know shaves! Whenever i bring up the subject, My mom yells and jumps and doesn't want to talk to me for the whole entire day. But i'm practically an adult! what can i do to talk to her about it? I don't really want to go behind her back, but i might have to, so how do i shave? Like in each area (pubes, armpit, legs) is it different for each area? I need the steps too please! thanks!(:
