If she doesn't like the idea of SHAVING it, then maybe you can ask to use a creme, or wax instead. If she doesn't like the idea of removing the hair altogether, maybe you can explain to her why you think it's important. Tell her that when you don't, you feel uncomfortable. If she still doesn't let you, ask her why, and try to make a compromise for when you can shave down there.
