How do i file an ex parte stay of execution in California. I am the defendant in an unlawful detainer case (that i have lost) and i expect to be served with the writ of possession by the sheriff in a couple of days. How do i request more time? I need about1- 2 more weeks before i have enough money to move. Serious answers only please.
